People who know these conversations firsthand

It started with a question

In-Touch grew out of a gap we encountered time and again - in our personal lives and in our roles as managers and commanders.

Organizations invest heavily in training their people. They share knowledge, establish procedures, and teach people what to do.

But when it matters, knowledge meets reality.

A person in distress. An employee who pushes back. A student who shuts down. A conversation that takes an unexpected turn.

In that moment, knowing what to do is not enough. You need to know how to do it.

We realized there was a missing connection: between the professional knowledge an organization already has and its people's ability to apply it in a complex human situation.

That gap led us to the question that inspired us to create In-Touch:

What if organizations could do more than teach people what to do - and prepare them to do it when it really matters?

Our vision

We believe the way organizations prepare people for complex situations needs to change.

Knowledge and instruction are the foundation, but capability is built through experience, practice, and feedback.

Our vision is to make the practice of complex human conversations and situations a natural and ongoing part of how organizations train and develop their people.

So that managers, educators, professionals, and frontline staff do not have to gain all their experience in real situations.

Because you shouldn't have to practice the most important conversations for the first time when you already have a real person in front of you.

Our mission

Our mission is to turn professional knowledge into human skills developed through practice.

We are building the infrastructure that allows organizations to take their professional knowledge, methodologies, and experience, and turn them into an environment where people can experiment, practice, receive feedback, and improve over time.

This is how the organization can move from knowledge transfer to capability building, and from the question “who has been trained?” to the truly important question:

“Are our people ready to respond when it matters?”

This is the mission of In-Touch: To enable organizations to build, strengthen, and understand the human capabilities they rely on every day.
